At CRI we seek to provide diligent independent analyses of political, social, and cultural issues that concern the Indian public and in doing so, strengthen Indian democracy. The biggest obstacle in the production and curation of attention-worthy analysis is the notable lack of knowledge capital and lack of a supportive academic/media ecosystem in India.
To address these gaps we have
– a book on the intellectual history of Hindutva being written
– internships and targetted projects for journalism students being planned
– and academic fellowships being designed to encourage participation of thought-leaders and scholars in the ecosystem.
These initiatives and more will be rolled out in the coming months. Your subscription contributions will be used to fund these initiatives and nurture a nascent ecosystem that will bear fruit for many years to come.
